Public viewing from the Marysville riverfront (west bank) or along PA-441 / Rockville Rd on the east bank. The bridge itself — the world's longest stone-masonry arch railroad bridge (3,820 ft, 48 arches) — is active NS Harrisburg Line, completed 1902.
Safety notes
View from public roads and riverfront only. The bridge is active NS mainline; trespassing onto the structure is prosecuted and physically dangerous (no walkway, train clearance is tight). River swimming/wading where viewing is fine in summer where allowed by signs.
Parking
Roadside parking along River Road in Marysville on the west bank. East-bank views from pullouts along PA-441; do NOT park on private property.
Best time of day
Morning for westbound trains (sun on the east face); late afternoon for eastbound. The bridge runs roughly E-W across the Susquehanna.
Train frequency
High — NS Harrisburg Line and Buffalo Line both use the bridge. 30-50 trains/day plus Amtrak Pennsylvanian once each way. The bridge is also visible to Amtrak Keystone passengers headed onto the Pittsburgh Line via Enola.

Marysville has a small downtown with cafes. Full services in Harrisburg (~5 miles south across the river).
